1. What Selectus Is

Selectus is an AI-powered career platform that helps international students and workers in Canada understand which jobs may support their immigration goals, based on publicly available criteria published by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).

Selectus is operated by Selectus Employment Services Inc., a Canadian corporation.

2. Information, Not Advice

All content on Selectus — including pathway assessments, immigration score badges, CV enhancements, interview feedback, and coaching reports — is provided for informational purposes only. We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information for your specific situation.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be 18 years or older to use Selectus. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile up to date.

4. Paid Features & Refunds

Paid features are billed through Stripe. One-time purchases (First Step, PR-Ready Pack) are non-refundable once AI processing has begun. Monthly subscriptions (Immigration Sprint, Full Pathway) may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. RCIC Referrals

Selectus earns a referral fee when you book a consultation with an RCIC listed in our directory. All RCICs are independently regulated by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). No RCIC in our network is affiliated with the Selectus founder or team.

6. Data & Privacy

Your data is stored securely in Canada (Supabase Canada Central region) in compliance with PIPEDA. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Intellectual Property

NOC data is sourced from the National Occupational Classification published by Employment and Social Development Canada and is used in accordance with the Open Government Licence — Canada.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selectus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including immigration decisions made based on information provided.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
