Frequently asked questions
What is a credit?
One credit unlocks one premium action, such as a CV enhancement. Voice interviews cost 1 to 4 credits depending on length (a short taste is 1 credit). Text interviews are always free.
Do credits roll over?
On annual plans, up to half your unused monthly credits carry over to the next month, capped at 1.5× your monthly allocation. Monthly plans, the Free plan and the 7-day trial do not roll over.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled any time — you keep access until the end of your billing period. Annual subscriptions can be paused for up to 2 months per year.
What currency are prices in?
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), charged via Stripe. The 7-day Pathfinder trial is a one-time C$4.99 payment with no auto-charge. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually.
Is this immigration advice?
No. Selectus provides information tools based on published IRCC criteria. For advice specific to your situation, consult a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).
What happened to the old plans (First Step, PR-Ready Pack, etc.)?
We simplified our plans. If you were on an older plan, your access continues at the same price — your plan is grandfathered and no action is required.
What happens when my 7-day trial ends?
After 7 days, your account automatically returns to the Free tier. No charge occurs. To continue, choose Pathfinder or another plan.
What is Permit Sprint?
Permit Sprint is a one-time C$79 purchase for newcomers under time pressure — for example, fewer than 90 days left on your PGWP. It includes 15 credits and 90 days of access, with no subscription. Credits never expire, so anything you don't use stays in your account.
What is the Landing Kit?
The Landing Kit is a one-time C$39 purchase for people who have just arrived or are about to start a new job in Canada. It includes 12 credits and 60 days of access, for CV and interview practice as you start out. No subscription, and credits never expire.
What is the 90-Day Sprint?
The 90-Day Sprint is a one-time C$59 purchase for a focused push toward a single milestone — a job search or an application. It includes 18 credits and 90 days of access, with no subscription. Credits never expire.
